REFLECTION AND REFRACTION TANK:

It is a shallow glass tank of water used in schools and colleges to demonstrate the basic properties of waves. It is a specialized form of a wave tank. The ripple tank is usually illuminated from above, so that the light shines through the water. Some small ripple tanks fit onto the top of an overhead projector

Specifications:

• This apparatus consists of an acrylic water tank with a clear front.
• It has a white back with a printed protractor.
• A simple diode laser with a built-in beam spreader is also provided with the apparatus to perform the reflection and refraction experiments.
• The total internal reflection experiment can also be performed using this apparatus.
