Van De Graaff Generator
Van De Graaff Generator Specifications:
This generator is an electrostatic generator which uses a moving belt to accumulate the electric charge on a hollow metal globe on the top of an insulated column, creating a very high electric potentials.
It produces very high voltage direct current (DC) electricity at low current levels.
A simple generator consists of a belt of rubber moving over two rollers of differing material, one of which is surrounded by a hollow metal sphere.
The belt carries away negative charge on its inner surface while the upper roller accumulates positive charge.
Mains operated versions are provided with the 1.5 meters of 3 core mains cable.
Both voltage & mains versions also have the independent 4 mm earth sockets with discharger of 75 mm diameter with handle.
