FORTIN’S BAROMETER:

A barometer is a scientific instrument used in the meteorology to measure the atmospheric pressure. Pressure tendency can forecast short term changes in the weather.

High pressure systems and frontal boundaries.

Specifications:

• Mounted on a polished wooden board with a provision for wall mounting.
• A white reflecting surface behind the scales facilitates its easier reading.
• A ring support and three locking screws at base of instrument provide a mean of securing the barometer in vertical position.
• Fitted with a thermometer to read ambient temperature.
• Supplied without mercury.
