MAGNETIC FIELD DEMONSTRATION PLATE:

This plate is an excellent tool to view magnetic fields. The unit is comprised of a transparent plate having a matrix of small circular chambers, each chamber containing an iron rod and functioning independently with as a plotting compass. This self-contained viewer allows you see magnetism at work without the mess of using loose iron filings.

Specifications:

• Comprises a rectangular chamber made of clear acrylic plates and filled with oil and has high quality, iron filings freely suspended inside.
• Bringing a magnet in its vicinity makes the filings to align along the magnetic field.
