SODIUM VAPOR LAMP:

It is a gas-discharge lamp that uses the sodium in an excited state to produce the light at a characteristic wavelength near 589 n m.

Specifications:

• Suitable for the spectroscopy, polarimetry, refractometry and interferometry.
• Complete with a vacuum jacket, rated 35 watts. For producing highly intense monochromatic light.
• Each lamp has a glass envelope with an inner discharge tube containing the gas or a vapor and two electrodes.
• The envelope is mounted on an E.S. cap, providing an arc center height of about 110 mm.
• Each lamp is fully interchangeable, without any adjustment.
